All Uma Fighters Characters

Uma Fighters is in ALPHA on Roblox with two playable fighters — Aurora and The Director. Both share the same core inputs (M1, skills 1–4, F block, Q dash, R Special, G Awaken) but play completely different neutral and combo games. This page covers each kit, how to unlock them, ALPHA roster expectations, and structured training paths that link to our deep character guides.

If you are brand new, read Getting Started and Controls before picking a main.

ALPHA 2 Roster Overview

Umaniacs shipped ALPHA with a focused roster so balance and mechanics can mature before new fighters arrive. Today every ranked and casual PvP match is Aurora mirror, Director mirror, or Aurora vs Director.

Aurora — The Balanced Fighter

Aurora is the default character and the best teacher for Uma Fighters systems. She has no money costs, no summons, and no second moveset — her power is honest fundamentals.

How to Unlock Characters

Aurora is available from first launch — no unlock required. She is the recommended starter in every guide path.

The Director unlock requirements can change during ALPHA. Check these sources in order:

  1. In-game character select menu (right-click quick swap on PC)
  2. Official Uma Fighters Discord announcements
  3. Updates Hub for milestone notes when unlock systems change

Do not assume old Reddit threads are current — ALPHA patches move quickly.

Training Paths by Character

Structured training beats random PvP. Follow the path that matches your pick.

Aurora Training Path (Week 1–2)

  1. Days 1–3: M1 only in training — 50 clean chains per session. Read Controls.
  2. Days 4–5: M1 last hit → Skill 1 and Skill 4 cancels. See Combos Guide.
  3. Days 6–7: Corner push and one block punish. Read Aurora Guide.
  4. Week 2: Awaken timing (G) after confirmed routes. Ultimate Mode Guide.
  5. Ongoing: PvP with one goal per session — PvP Tips for neutral reads.

Director Training Path (After Aurora Basics)

  1. Foundation: Confirm you can complete Aurora M1 → Skill routes — Director still uses the same M1 foundation.
  2. Money discipline: Practice confirms before every paid skill — never spend on neutral whiffs.
  3. Summon timing: Call assists after hit confirm, not before approach.
  4. R swap: Drill one combo per moveset; identify swap animation so opponents cannot free-hit you.
  5. Matchup: Grind Aurora vs Director both ways — Director Guide and Aurora Guide.

Mobile Players
